I bet you’re wondering why my site is called “Shoes On Backwards”

Well..

My blog is titled “Shoes On Backwards” because as a young girl I always wore my shoes backwards and by the Grace of GOD I was never teased by peers.  I once went to vacation bible school and happily walked to and from church with my shoes on backwards!

In my latter part of adult life I felt I was always doing things backwards, but once again by the Grace of GOD things worked out for me and the world continues to welcome me with open arms, love, and support!

I am an Educator with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Literacy. (that’s right Literacy)

I obtained my bachelors and masters from The University of Texas at Arlington. And I proudly #bleedblue #UTAAlumni #ForeverArlington

In addition, I also bleed shocking pink and majestic purple!

I am apart of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc. and here found a sisterhood of “hermanas por vida“ “sisters for life.”
